How to Train Your Dragon-Styled Contacts and Fun Facts
It has been more than a decade since we were introduced to the phenomenal world of How to Train Your Dragon by DreamWorks Pictures. From the 2010 animated film turned trilogy to the most recent live-action adaptation of the film, Hiccup and his dragons in the Viking village of Berk have stolen hearts and won-over the audiences. Here are contact lenses inspired by some of the dragons we see on-screen and fun facts about them that will have you even more fascinated with these fictional creatures.
Night Fury (Toothless)

Without a doubt, Toothless is the favourite dragon from the bunch for anyone. His big round cat-like green eyes, wide grin and playful demeanor is just too adorable to resist.
Toothless is of a rare dragon species known as the Night Fury. They are known for their preference to attack at night due to their black scales that allows them to blend with the night sky.
For such a fearsome creature, Toothless got his rather unusual name from Hiccup as a result of their unique feature of retractable teeth.
Night Fury’s are also known for their supersonic speed because of their sleek body and aerodynamic jet-like wings. Through the course of the film, we find out that without one of the fins the species cannot fly which ultimately formed the friendship between Toothless and Hiccup as he built a replacement fin for the dragon.
Light Fury

Just when we thought that there could be no other dragon cuter than Toothless, the Light Fury is introduced in the third film, absolutely stealing the show with her softer features and beautiful presence. Like her male counterpart, the audience became enamored with the new variation of the Night Fury.
Though generally, she looks similar to Toothless, the Light Fury has her own distinctive features that differs from him. Her pearl white scales and light blue cat-like eyes are a complete opposite from him at first glance.
She is smaller than Toothless and has less obvious ridges compared to him. The Light Fury’s features are much delicate and have an entrancing effect.
Deadly Nadder (Stormfly)

The Deadly Nadder species is introduced in the very first film where she is quickly taken a liking with Astrid who comes to name her Stormfly. Though new to the proximity of such a deadly creature, Astrid takes it in stride and the both turn out to form a lethal combination.
The Deadly Nadders are commonly shown to be in the colours of blue or purple with striking yellow eyes. However, their most noticeable features are the spikes that adorn their heads and tails which shoot-up when alarmed or in danger, ready to attack with accuracy.
Through the franchise, they are known for having the hottest fire that could scorch their enemies to death.
