Clear Contacts

Contact Lenses has been an ideal accessory for many centuries, with the earliest contact lens being created back in 1888 by the German ophthalmologist Adolf Gaston Eugen Fick. In modern society, they are best known as a necessity item for millions of people from all over the world. The size of contact lens users are an increasing occurrence due to eye-related conditions such as astigmatism, hyperopia and myopia.

Daily Disposable Lenses vs Monthly

Daily contact lenses are typically very thin, making it easier for natural deposits from your eyes to be built up on the surface but these contact lenses water content is higher, which some users need. Monthly disposable lenses have a thicker composition, which helps them to be more usable and long-lasting. They are usually more resistant to drying out as well.

If you are purchasing the daily disposable contact lenses, make sure that they are discarded at the end of the day. They do not require any care, cleaning after use or being stored in a lens case. However, do make sure before every use that you clean them with multipurpose lens soultion and that your hands are clean before handling them. Some people are known to use the lens inserter and lens tweezer that are included in certain lens cases as these appliances are known as being easier to use and more hygienic but this is down to personal preferences.

If you are purchasing the monthly disposable contact lenses, these lenses will have to be properly cleaned after every use with contact lens solution and stored safely in a contact lens case. It is also easy to forget if it has been a month since you first opened them so we do recommend that you use a new pair of monthly disposable lenses on the first day of every month in order to help you to keep track of the time. This will ensure that your use of contact lenses is properly done in order for your beautiful eyes to be cared for.

Daily disposables are considered the best for some because of the convenience and it is easier to maintain but the price can be higher due to having to purchase more lenses frequently. To others, monthly disposable lenses are considered the best as they are considered more cost effective but you have to clean them often and take extra care so that no infections occur. In the end, no one can tell you which disposables are the best for you as it all comes down to personal preference. Do discuss this more with your optometrist.

Reasons for wearing Contact Lenses and Circle Lenses

Contact Lenses and Circle Lenses are worn for many different reasons, whether it is to correct vision or for cosmetics reasons. One of the most popular reason is that they do not want to wear glasses. Compared to wearing spectacles, contact lenses can usually provide better peripheral vision, and the wearers do not have the problem of the glasses collecting moisture, such as from condensation or perspiration. Sports and Outdoor enthusiasts also prefer to wear contact lenses instead of glasses due to the convenience; as well as being able to wear sunglasses without having to fit them with prescription lenses.
